Our proud history

History of the Club

Deepdene Uniting Cricket Club was established in 1945 directly after World War II. It was originally known as Deepdene Methodist Cricket Club and was connected to the Church in Nungerner St Balwyn. It changed to Deepdene Uniting Cricket Club in 1977. Originally our Home Ground was Macleay Park, where the Netball courts now stand. Our current home grounds are Hays Paddock and Willsmere Reserve, East Kew.
